As an Implementation Manager at Functional Finance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and successful onboarding experience for our clients. You will be responsible for managing the entire implementation process, from initial client engagement to go-live. Your ability to build strong relationships, effectively communicate technical concepts, and problem-solve will be essential in driving client satisfaction and success. • Client Onboarding: Manage the entire client onboarding process, including requirements gathering, project planning, and configuration.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful implementation.
• Technical Expertise: Understand and effectively communicate technical concepts related to our software platform to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve implementation challenges and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product, engineering) to ensure a smooth implementation process.
• Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients throughout the implementation process, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.‍
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of our implementation processes and best practices.

• 3+ years of experience in project management, implementation, account management, partnerships or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial operations within the insurance industry.‍
• Project Management: Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.‍
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software implementation methodologies and tools.‍
• Client Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients.‍
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.‍
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.  ‍
• Customer-Facing Experience: Proven ability to interact effectively with clients and understand their needs.‍
• Technical Integration: Familiarity with system-to-system integrations (APIs, etc.).‍
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of AMS, PAS, agency front-end experiences, and billing models.‍
• Insurance Expertise: Familiarity with insurance distribution and billing models and the ability to learn our Functional Finance platform.
